Dean O'Brien, Lead Developer
Since graduating university (BSc Computing Science + Mathematics), he has been predominantly employed in the HE sector developing eLearning solutions to support a major UK university. He now works collaboratively with design agencies to develop bespoke websites, using a range of technologies depending upon the exact needs of the client. These include Flash, XHTML, MySQL, PHP, ASP, together with SEO techniques and CMS integration.
Haydn Howard, Lead Designer
Haydn has over 10 years' experience in the field of Interactive Media, being involved in all elements of production and working on projects for major clients such as Audi, BNFL, Citroen, Northumbria University and the NHS. His strengths are not only in his design capabilities but also his knowledge of leading a team to produce high quality interactive content and being a key contributor to award winning projects in both academic and industry areas.
Ben Lovatt, Systems Design
Ben is an experienced systems designer and software engineer. He has worked successfully in both private and public sectors, primarily serving higher education. From bespoke Student Administration Systems to fully online distance learning courses, Ben’s focus has always been on the quality of the product and ensuring it effectively integrates with the client’s existing enterprise systems.
Laura Taylor, Project Management
Laura has worked in both the public and private sectors and has project managed many e-Learning projects and developments; ranging from those requiring the production of learning materials for standalone courses or modules to those requiring full programme deployment. For the last seven years Laura has been involved primarily as a project lead however, she also has experience in contributing to staff development, training and workshops. During her career Laura has produced learning materials and provided training and assessment for a number of businesses including Newcastle College, Amec Engineering, White Young Green Engineering and Northumbria University as well as working collaboratively on projects with Kellogs, Penspen and the Lawn Tennis Association. Laura has broad experience of technical project management, largely using agile techniques and has completed Post Graduate in Distance Learning and Project Management for Virtual Learning Environment Project Managers training.
